Vladimir Tereshkov is a photographer, photo editor based in Belgrade, Serbia. He started working in photography medium and moved to St. Petersburg
in 2016. He finished advanced course of the Academy of photojournalism
and documentary photography «Fotografika» in 2018. Now Vladimir works on RTVI news channel in Moscow. The job of photo editor helps to be into current agenda
and define his own interests as an artist. His ongoing projects are based
on his photojournalistic skills and experience.
Vladimir prefers to work with longterm documentary photo projects. Main themes
he is working with are social-political discourse and closed communities.
His works were published in the Eye of Photography, Private Magazine, Bird in Flight, RTVI, Dodho Magazine, JUICE. The projects were represented in group exhibitions
in Moscow and Saint Petersburg.
Since December 2018 Vladimir curates self-organized «Smena» project, thats aim is to represent young Russian artists. He was one of the curators of the first festival
of photobooks in Saint Petersburg called PHOTOBOOKZINEPRINTPRESSFEST
in October 2019.
